This Privacy Policy explains what data is processed when you visit unterauer.com or anemos.app, and why. The short version: this website has no backend, sets no cookies, uses no analytics and makes no requests to third-party servers from your browser. The only processing of personal data happens at the hosting layer, described below.

2. Hosting and Server Logs
This site is delivered by Firebase Hosting, a service of Google (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC), acting as a processor for the site owner. To deliver the site over the network, Google necessarily processes technical connection data - in particular your IP address, the requested URL, browser user agent and time of the request - in server logs. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in securely and reliably delivering this website, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. These logs are not used to identify visitors, are not combined with other data, and are retained only as long as the hosting provider requires for operations and security.
As Google LLC is a US company, connection data may be processed in the United States. Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission has recognized as ensuring an adequate level of data protection (Art. 45 GDPR).
3. Storage on Your Device
The site stores a small number of values in your browser's localStorage, strictly for functionality you request: your theme preference (light or dark), and on the Finance tools page the calculator inputs you entered, so they survive a reload. This data never leaves your device, is not transmitted to anyone, contains no personal identifiers and is used for no other purpose (§ 25(2) TDDDG - storage strictly necessary for a service you explicitly request). You can remove it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser. The site sets no cookies.
4. No Tracking, No Third-Party Requests
This site uses no analytics services, no tracking pixels, no fingerprinting, no advertising and no social-media embeds. Web fonts are self-hosted, so visiting this site triggers no requests from your browser to third-party servers.
5. Contact by Email
If you voluntarily contact the site owner by email, the personal data you provide (such as your email address and the content of your message) is used solely to handle your inquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). It is not retained longer than necessary and is not shared with third parties unless legally required.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA), which is competent for the site owner's place of residence.
7. Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time, for example when the site's functionality changes. The current version with its effective date is always published on this page.
